Opinion: Trump Shooting, Biden's weakness and Harris becoming the next United States President

The incident involving the Trump shooting has undoubtedly stirred intense emotions and debate.

Such acts of violence, regardless of the target, are deeply concerning and counterproductive to democratic discourse. Resorting to violence undermines the principles of democracy and the rule of law.

It is crucial to address political disagreements through peaceful means and constructive dialogue rather than through acts of aggression.

This incident should prompt a reflection on the current political climate and the importance of fostering a culture of respect and understanding, even amidst deep political divides.

This brings us deep into the present state of the US presidential election and the matters arising.

It is no longer news that President Joe Biden has withdrawn from the US presidential election race endorsing his Vice Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris, becoming president of the United States, would be a historic milestone, marking the first time a woman and a person of African and South Asian descent holds the office.

Her presidency would symbolize significant progress in the nation’s journey toward greater diversity and representation in its highest leadership.

Harris's career as a senator and vice president showcases her commitment to issues like criminal justice reform, healthcare, and civil rights, which could shape her presidential agenda.

Her leadership would likely bring fresh perspectives and approaches to addressing the nation's challenges, emphasizing inclusivity and equality.

However, like any president, she would also face scrutiny and opposition, and her effectiveness would depend on her ability to navigate the complex political landscape and unite a deeply divided country.

Nigerian Landlords Increasing Rent Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

By Nene Ifeyinwa

World wide, different sectors of the economy are taking a massive hit, but some people have chosen this
period of Covid-19 to increase rents. My landlord is one of them. We can only run to our government to put a check on this.

In some countries, they have stopped collecting rents and other utility bills, but ours is increasing rents.

Yesterday, my landlord increased my rent by 200k.

I can't explain how shocked I am about this kind of insensitivity and I may not be the only one.

Please Folded hands join me as I reach out to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to stop Landlords from increasing rents because of Covid.

Time is here to stay because it's infinite

It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of it. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others. A cow eats grass and gets fat but if dog eats grass, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others_ .

Both Lion and Shark are professional hunters, BUT:
A Lion cannot hunt in the Ocean and a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle
That a Lion cannot hunt in the ocean doesn't make him useless and that a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle doesn't also make him useless both have their own territory where they can do well

If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to compare yourself to others. You also have your own strength, look for it and build on it. All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. Remember that Broken crayons still colour.
_Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal...!
